Filmmusicsite.com has had the opportunity to talk to composer Gareth Coker. He is a British composer and producer working out of Los Angeles. He is known for his melodically driven scores, unique soundscapes, and attention to detail and execution. Gareth has won multiple awards like f.i. the Ivor Novello Award for Best Original Video Game Score and multiple Game Audio Network Guild awards. He wrote the music to many acclaimed video games such as Ori and the Will of the Wisps and Ori and the Blind Forest (2020 / 2015) but also the popular ARK franchise. Recently Gareth wrote the score to ARK: THE ANIMATED SERIES for Paramount. The first episodes can be seen on Paramount+.
