Walt Disney Productions' The Orange Bird

This record is part of the FS ('Four Songs') series. Original issues include the FS prefix before the catalog number. Variations of the FS-922 version include one that contains the text 'Starring Anita Bryant' and 'You Can See The Orange Bird In The Sunshine Pavilion At Walt Disney World' on the front cover and one that does not. The four songs on this record can be heard in stereo on the Story Teller record STER-3991.

The Orange Bird is a character created as a mascot by Disney in 1970 for the Florida Citrus Growers' Association and became a prominently featured character in Magic Kingdom's Adventureland at the Sunshine Tree Terrace located near Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room. The presence of the character faded over time, but made a revival in Tokyo Disneyland in 2004 and a return to Walt Disney World in 2012. The Orange Bird also appeared in the educational film 'Foods and Fun: A Nutrition Adventure' that spawned a comic book and other merchandise.
