The Orange Bird is a character created as a mascot by Disney in 1970 for the Florida Citrus Growers' Association and became a prominently featured character in Magic Kingdom's Adventureland at the Sunshine Tree Terrace located near Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room. The presence of the character faded over time, but made a revival in Tokyo Disneyland in 2004 and a return to Walt Disney World in 2012. The Orange Bird also appeared in the educational film 'Foods and Fun: A Nutrition Adventure' that spawned a comic book and other merchandise.

Anita Jane Bryant est née le 25 mars 1940 à Barnsdall dans l'Oklahoma elle est une chanteuse américaine de musique folk, qui a aussi tourné dans une série de spots publicitaires vantant le jus d'orange de Floride dont Orange Bird qui est apparu à la télévision, dans la presse écrite et à la radio. En 1971, Anita Jane Bryant a raconté un album de disques racontant l'histoire du personnage. Une grande personne disparue qui s'est battue aussi pour ses idéaux!
