The Changes

The first ever original soundtrack release of cult 1970’s BBC TV series ‘The Changes’ The critically acclaimed BBC TV series, The Changes, was first broadcast by the BBC in in 1975, accompanied by music from electronic pioneer Paddy Kingsland, who wrote and recorded the score while working at the BBC Radiophonic Workshop. The 10 part series, adapted from Peter Dickinson’s book trilogy, was perfectly suited to Kingsland’s seminal electronic style, following a teenager living in a Britain where machinery and technology emit a terrible, all-enveloping noise, causing the population to destroy them. Ben Bagley’s Rodgers and Hart Revisited

Kritzerland is proud to present three new releases in the Ben Bagley Revisited series: Ben Bagley’s Rodgers and Hart Revisited

Ben Bagley’s Rodgers and Hart Revisited turned out to be so popular that Bagley ended up doing five volumes, all of which we’ll be issuing. The first volume is filled with incredible Rodgers and Hart treasures. The Richard Rodgers that wrote with Lorenz Hart was very different than the Rodgers who wrote with Hammerstein. Together, Rodgers and Hart wrote some of the greatest popular songs in history, one after another. And you won’t be hearing any of those on this album because what we have here are rare and wonderful Rodgers and Hart treasures, many of which were really new to people when this album was originally released. For this album, Bagley assembled ...

The Cisco Kid

Kritzerland is proud to present one of our final CD releases for 2018 – from the Golden Age: The Cisco Kid

Henry in 1907 in the short story “The Caballero’s Way,” which was published in a collection called Hearts of the West. After a whole slew of Cisco Kid films (the first was made in 1914) involving several different actors in the title role, in 1945 came another series of three films, this time from programmer studio Monogram. This time the film starred the man who would forever by identified with the role, Duncan Renaldo. Then yet another series of films were made, six in all, and all made in one year – those all starred Gilbert Roland as the Kid. Then ...
