Corpus Christi is directed by Jan Komasa with Bartosz Bielenia, Eliza Rycembel, Aleksandra Konieczna, Tomasz Zietek, Leszek Lichota and Lukasz Simlat. The drama premiered at this 2019 year’s Venice and Toronto Film Festival.
Daniel, 20-year-old, experiences a spiritual transformation in a youth detention center. He dreams of becoming a priest and when he is denied access to the seminary, he decides to pose as the minister of a small town parish.
