Composer of Steven Soderbergh's The Informant!

In December 2009 we had the opportunity to talk to composer and songwriter Marvin Hamlisch. Sophie's Choice and Ordinary People are two of his most recognizable credits, but he also worked on films with director Woody Allen, such as Bananas. As a songwriter he's known for The Way We Were, Nobody Does It Better and the theme song from The Spy Who Loved Me.

In 2009 he composed the score to Steven Soderbergh's The Informant!. He also received the lifetime achievement award at the World Soundtrack Awards in Ghent.
