The 6-parter BBC Studios Natural History Unit production Mammals is narrated by Sir David Attenborough, produced by Roger Webb and Scott Alexander.

It focuses on how these animals are adapting to a world rapidly changed by the most dominant mammal - us.
We also see otters navigate the busy roads of Singapore and lemurs clinging to toothbrush trees in an attempt to keep cool in rising temperatures.
'Mammals' is a challenging series to watch but also shows the incredible ingenuity of the world's most successful animals.
In the final episode of the six-part series Sir David says: 'If we make the right decisions we can safeguard the future not just for our fellow mammals but for all life on Earth.'

1. Dark
With heightened senses verging on superpowers, over two thirds of mammal species are creatures of the night with some even returning to the dark side as their daytime world gets more and more crowded.
2. The New Wild
Today the planet is changing faster than ever and mammals must change with it if they are to survive in the new wild..
3. Water
From freshwater jungle ponds to the dark depths of the open ocean, air breathing mammals have found remarkable ways to overcome the many challenges of a life in water.
4. Cold
From ice covered seas to snow-capped mountains, mammals have conquered the cold, living in the most inhospitable places on Earth thanks to their remarkable intelligence and amazing adaptations.
5. Heat
Sir David Attenborough reveals how, by pushing themselves and their bodies to the absolute limit, mammals have found remarkable ways to beat the heat, surviving in some of the hottest places on our planet.
6. Forest
From the forest floor to high above the trees, forests are home to two thirds of all mammal species. Sir David Attenborough reveals how they overcome the many challenges of life in this crowded world.
