Golden Globe Awards 2022

The winners for the 79th Annual Golden Globe Awards have just been announced at a ceremony with no media in attendance, no celebrities walking the red carpet and no telecast. In the category for best score the award was won by composer Hans Zimmer with his score voor Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi epic Dune. He won previously his first two Golden Globes for 1994’s The Lion King and 2000’s Gladiator and was honored with multiple other nominations over the last three decades. The other nominees in the best score category were Alexandre Desplat (The French Dispatch), Germaine Franco (Encanto), Jonny Greenwood (The Power of the Dog) and Alberto Iglesias (Parallel Mother). In the Original Song category, Billie Eilish & Finneas won the award for the title song from Cary Fukunaga’s James Bond film No Time to Die.
