We've had the opportunity to talk to composer John Debney. John Debney is a L.A. based composer who has written music for films such as Hocus Pocus, Passion of the Christ, Cutthroat Island, Elf and recently Come Away, Season 2 of The Orville and Jingle Jangle. John has won 3 Emmy awards, has been nominated for an Oscar award and he is the youngest recipient of ASCAP’s prestigious Henry Mancini Lifetime Achievement Award.
In this latest edition of Composer Talk he talks about his work for Come Away, season 2 of The Orville and the Netflix film Jingle Jangle. John is currently on the shortlist to be nominated for the Oscar for Best Original Score with his music for Jingle Jangle. Let's hope he makes it to the final list with this beautiful score!
