World premiere release of original soundtracks from three 20th Century Fox war pictures by 'A-list' directors John Ford, Samuel Fuller, Robert Wise, featuring music composed by Alfred Newman, Roy Webb, Leigh Harline. Composers also adapt WWII-era music for their respective pictures as well. Extra highlight finds dramatic 'Rommel' prologue by Daniele Amfitheatrof from initial DESERT FOX movie makes return appearance in sequel DESERT RATS heard here. Producer Nick Redman selects music from Fox vaults, discovers several tracks in stereo! Julie Kirgo adds details about movies and their music in detailed liner notes.
