Armand Amar is an Israeli-born French composer who grew up in Morocco. He won the 2010 Cesar Award for Best Music Written for a Film for Radu Mihaileanu's Le Concert. Amar's latest score is for Mediterranean - A Sea for All by Yann Arthus-Bertrand and Michael Pitiot. The film seeks to remind us about the sea's history and inspire us to preserve it. The cradle of human civilization, today the Mediterranean region is home to 427 million people and 24 countries. In this film, shot entirely from the air, the Mediterranean is seen only from the sky, exploring even its most inaccessible countries such as Libya, Lebanon, Egypt and Algeria.
