English title: Have Mercy On Us All
Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
Music composed by Patrick Doyle
Corpses which have turned black are found throughout Paris. The doors of numbers of houses are marked with mysterious symbols and figures. Has the plague returned to Paris?
A policeman and an old man with a mysterious past try to solve the case which is holding the French capital in its claws. The entire pace of the film, dictated by the superb editing and timing of Yann Malcor, coupled with the exquisite camera movement and lighting created by Laurent Daillant, produces a beautiful atmospheric work of art which frames a spellbinding story.
The ambience so masterfully achieved by all those involved with the film was further enhanced by Patrick Doyle, who composed a score peppered with medieval references which work to bring a medieval quality to the film for the viewer.
