John Williams in Berlijn

2-CD + 2 Blu Ray set nu verkrijgbaar
Componist John Williams is op 8 februari 2022 90 jaar oud geworden. Ter ere van zijn verjaardag heeft Deutsche Grammophon een CD uitgebracht van het John Williams concert in Berlijn dat doorging op 14, 15 en 16 oktober 2021. Je kan de muziek apart kopen als 2-CD set maar er is ook een uitgave die zowel de 2-CD's als 2 Blu Rays bevat. Met deze release bewijst Deutsche Grammophon nog maar eens dat ze echte pro's zijn in het opnemen van een symfonisch orkest. De muziek van Williams klinkt als nooit tevoren in deze uitvoering van het Berliner Philharmoniker. Bijna alle muzikale hoogtepunten uit Williams oeuvre krijg je te horen. Star Wars, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, ET, Close Encounters, Superman,..... De totale speelduur bedraagt 108 minuten. Op 1 blu ray staat het concert in DTS 5.1 en in Dolby Atmos. De andere blu ray bevat enkel de audio in hoogte kwaliteit. Deze release is een must have voor alle Williams fans. Een zeer mooi 90ste verjaardag cadeau.
