La-La Land Records, 20th Century Fox, Fox Music en Sony Music hebben Jack Nitzsche's (ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO’S NEST, CUTTER’S WAY, STAND BY ME) score voor Jewel of the Nile uitgebracht. De muziek is volledig geremastered en uitgebreid met 30 minuten aan extra muziek. De originele soundtrack bevatte 2 suites. De nieuwe release is 45 minuten lang en bevat ook de Billy Ocean song When Going Gets Though, The Tough Get Going. Jewel of the Nile is het vervolg op Romancing the Stone met in de hoofdrollen Michael Douglas, Kathleen Turner en Danny DeVito. Jack Nitzsche schreef een electronische pop score voor de film. In totaal zullen er 2500 exemplaren verkrijgbaar zijn. De liner notes zijn geschreven door Jeff Bond.
