Song 'Et tu restes': lyrics and music by Timothée Duperray, performed by Tim Dup, arrangements by Cyrille Aufort.
'As there is neither dialogue nor voice-over, the music accompanies the narration even more than usual. (...) The problem is that we have this oak tree that doesn't move, which, unlike an actor, has no expression. So how do you convey emotion? We opted for a theme that gives unity starting with a single choir which is then followed by the orchestra. I wanted a majestic melody.'
Cyrille Aufort (from the interview in the CD booklet).

Once upon a time, there was an oak tree, 210 years old, that became a pillar in its kingdom.
This spectacular adventure film brings together an extraordinary cast: squirrels, barnacles, jays, ants, field mice... All this vibrant, humming and wonderful little world seals its destiny around this majestic tree that welcomes them, feeds them, protects them from its roots to its top.
A poetic ode to life where the only one to express itself is nature.
