WaterTower Music presents the new soundtrack for the CW series Stargirl. The album contains the music from the second season composed by Pinar Toprak.
The soundtrack is available digitally since November 2, 2021.
The label has previously released the score from Season 1 on 2020.
Stargirl is developed by Geoff Johns with Brec Bassinger, Yvette Monreal, Anjelika Washington, Cameron Gellman, Luke Wilson, Amy Smart, Hunter Sansone, Meg DeLacy and Nick Tarabay.
DC’s Stargirl follows high school sophomore Courtney Whitmore as she inspires an unlikely group of young heroes to stop the villains of the past. This new drama reimagines DC’s Stargirl and the very first superhero team, the Justice Society of America, in an unpredictable series.
Several decades earlier, Eclipso (in the form of a boy named Bruce) kills Mid-Nite's daughter, Rebecca McNider. A few months after the ISA's defeat, Courtney and the JSA patrol Blue Valley for supervillains but fail to find anything. Pat plans a family camping trip, but Courtney is assigned summer school by Bowin's successor, Harold Sherman, after failing several classes and getting into an unintentional altercation with Artemis. Concurrently, Rick secretly cares for Grundy while Beth successfully reboots Chuck amidst her neglectful parents filing for divorce, though Chuck has no memory of her. Suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder after killing Brainwave, Yolanda urges Courtney to stay away from Cameron lest she reveals her part in his father's death….
