Zieja is directed by Robert Glinski with Andrzej Seweryn, Mateusz Więcławek, Zbigniew Zamachowski, Tadeusz Bradecki and Jakub Wieczorek.

The 70s. A Security Service Major wishes to 'buy' gullible priest Zieja and turn him into an agent who will discredit the opposition. The priest's interrogations become a natural pretext for a journey through the history of Poland in the twentieth century: from the Bolshevik war of 1920, through World War II, up to modern times.
It turns out that the seemingly naive Father Zieja is actually a clever rebel. The world he lived in was unacceptable to him. He was ahead of his time. A lonely journey without a passport to Rome in the 1930s turned into thoughts of a European Union.
Performing the Catholic funeral rites of a woman who committed suicide (during the 20s of the past century) was an protest against the church's rules. Proclaiming the slogan 'never kill anyone, not even your enemies' during the Second World War, was against patriotic mythologies and foretold future pacifist attitudes.
Zieja puts his life and freedom on the line in the name of moral, ethical and religious values in which he believed….

About Cezary Skubiszewski:

Cezary Skubiszewski is a Polish-born Australian film and television composer whose work has received international acclaim winning numerous awards. Most notably Cezary is the recipient of three Australian Academy Cinema Television Awards and IFMCA (International Film Music Critics) Award nomination for best film music.

In 2003 Cezary received the Centenary Medal 'For Service to Australian Society and Australian Film Production”.
Cezary's film scores include 'Two Hands' (with Heath Ledger), Death Defying Acts (with Catherina Zeta -Jones), Red Dog (with Koko), Bootmen (with Sam Worthington) 'The Sapphires' (with Chris O’Dowd), ‘ Black & White’ (with Robert Carlyle), ‘ Women He’s Undressed’ (with Jane Fonda), La Spagnola (with Lola Marceli) and Amazon TV series 'Picnic At Hanging Rock' (with Natalie Dorman).
Most recently Cezary scored UK/USA film 'Falling For Figaro' (with Joanna Lumley) , Polish historical epic film ’Truth Makes Free’, USA/Polish film ‘Mosquito State' and Australian TV mini-series 'Halifax Retribution'.

In 1981 Cezary composed a symphony 'Home At Last' which was broadcasted nationally on SBS TV
and in 1991 'Soundescape' - a musical journey through time and emotion which was commissioned by Victoria Arts Centre and performed multiple times during Melbourne and Adelaide Art Festivals.

The film score to Ana Kokkinos feature film 'Blessed' was performed live in two concerts by Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and the extended version of 'The Search 'from a feature 'Red Dog 'was performed live by Queensland Symphony Orchestra.
In 2008 and 2011 Cezary was a Music Director of APRA Screen Music Awards.
In 2016 'Red Dog - True Blue' soundtrack album reached no 1 on ARIA album charts.
Cezary conducted Melbourne Symphony Orchestra for two Cinema/TV ads - The Bottle Symphony and Carlton Draught 'Big Ad' - both became a sensation all over the world.
