Directed by Brad Turner, the film follows Nicolas Shaw (Barry Pepper), a retired U.S. special operative who becomes part of an elite “invisible” team that quietly takes out the worst villains around the world. After his team members had been assassinated in a mission gone wrong, Shaw must return from hiding in order to stop a similar murder spree…

“Andrew and Michael’s beautiful score for Trigger Point elevates every single moment of the movie,” says director Brad Turner. “They were able to access Nicolas’s subconscious and supply a level of music that any filmmaker would envy. We had agreed early in the process that this film would be a pure thriller and they not only heard me but doubled down with remarkable skill. It’s also wonderful music to listen to.”
Andrew Lockington and Michael White add: “At every stage of production, Brad meticulously carved out space for the music to say the words the characters in the story only hint at. Using ukelines, nyckelharpa, bass flute and analogue synth rhythms and textures we started building the sound of the world of Trigger Point.
The score serves to echo the humanity deep within and hint at the two extremes of Nicolas’s character – the person he used to be, and the demon he’s willing to unleash to avenge that person.”

Canadian composer Andrew Lockington has been writing film music since 1997, his breakout credit was the Walden/New Line blockbuster Journey to the Center of Earth which brought the composer the Award for Breakout Composer of 2008 by the IFMCA.
Since then he scored the second movie in the Percy Jackson franchise – Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters (2013) as well as San Andreas (2015). As so often is the case, MovieScore Media was the first label to recognize the talent of this composer, releasing Andrew’s score for the Native American-based horror Skinwalkers in 2006.
