Craig Benjamin Wedren is an American singer-songwriter, musician and composer, who began his career fronting post-hardcore band Shudder to Think. Following the disbandment of Shudder to Think, Wedren pursued a career as a television and film music composer, as well as releasing solo material.
As a composer, Wedren has scored a host of popular feature films including Wanderlust, Role Models, The School of Rock, Wet Hot American Summer, By The People: The Election of Barack Obama, Laurel Canyon, Roger Dodger, Afternoon Delight, How To Be A Latin Lover, and A Futile, Stupid Gesture. He has also written and performed music for televisions shows including New Amsterdam, Shrill, GLOW, Wet Hot American Summer, Fresh Off The Boat, Hung, The United States of Tara, Reno 911!, Children's Hospital, Burning Love, and The State.

The soundtrack is available digitally since March 2, 2021 on Amazon and other digital music services.

New Amsterdam is created by David Schulner with Ryan Eggold, Janet Montgomery, Freema Agyeman, Jocko Sims, Tyler Labine and Anupam Kher.
