Leung is a film composer best known for his work on two of the biggest Asian blockbusters, Operation Red Sea and The Rescue. Leung works very closely with director Dante Lam, and has also collaborated with many other notable artists; namely actress Xin Zhilei and director Ng Yuen Fai.
In 2014, his choral music was highly praised by The Honourable Bernard Chan (陳智思) of the Hong Kong Executive Council. Furthermore, his reimagination of Descendants of the Dragon (龍的傳人) was featured as part of the 20th anniversary of Hong Kong Handover celebrations.

The soundtrack is available digitally since December 18, 2020.
The Rescue is directed by Dante Lam with Eddie Peng, Wang Yanlin, Xin Zhilei, Lan Yingying, Wang Yutian and Xu Yang.
