我在《风平浪静》这部电影开始拍摄之前，已经是文子音乐的听众，并委托制片人向他转达合作的意愿。他配乐的上一部电影《第一次的离别》，音乐的深度、宽度、调动画面深处情感的力量，令我印象深刻，并惊讶于我们的国家竟然拥有一位如此有天赋并保持着对现代生活极其敏锐的电影配乐作曲家，而他本人又是如此单纯、低调。我想，听众们已经拿到这张电影原声大碟，我愿意收敛一下对这次合作成果的赞颂，而请听众们在观赏电影的时候感受它，也在对电影一无所知的时候感受它。这部电影拍摄于中国南方的海岸城市，我想我很荣幸，也为作曲家文子感到骄傲，因为你们将感觉到命运的呼吸、人的情感、风和海浪，这23段音乐，像雨一样细腻，像那些海上的渔民一样，心胸宽广。

“I was a fan of Wen Zi before the film shooting of ‘Back To The Wharf’, therefore I delegated the producer to express my will of cooperation. In his last soundtrack of film ‘A First Farewell’, I’m impressed by the depth and the width of the music, the power of mobilizing deep emotion of the frames.
To my surprise, our country has such a talented soundtrack composer who is very sensitive to modern life but so pure and low-key in person. I think audiences have received this soundtrack already, I’d like to put a pause to my compliments of this collaboration, instead, letting audiences feel it when watching the film with knowing nothing.
This film was shot in a coastal city of south China, we would feel the breath of destiny, human emotion, wind and wave. Those 23 tracks exquisite like rain, generous like fisherman. I’m so honored and proud of Wen Zi.” Director: Xiaofeng Li

有朋友问我是否是理想主义者？对于这么高大上的提问一下把我懵在那儿了。为了现实中的和谐，能做到不撒谎不谄媚就算是守住生存的底线了，何敢执言妄议？所幸音乐的功能不仅能看图说话，还能力透纸背，潜入到无垠的精神世界自由表达，这也是我的幸运之所在吧。《风平浪静》并不平静，我和影片所有的主创人员都竭力通过各自不同的手艺来表述这一点，和现实相比，那怕我们只能做到万一。

A friend asked me whether I am an idealist. I was not sure what to answer by such a big question.
To me, it is a success to hold the bottom line of survival for the harmony in the reality, how dare that there are still voices and arguments? Fortunately for me, the function of music can not only look at pictures to speak, but also have the ability to dive into the boundless spiritual world and express freely.
'Back to the Wharf’ is not telling a peaceful story. All the main creators of the film and myself strive to express this through our own unique ways. Compared with reality, even if we could only do one little thing in a million.
