Of all our releases, the most popular one - by far - was Pinchcliffe Grand Prix by Bent Fabricius-Bjerre. The original release was limited to 1.500 units, and sold out within 3 months. We have had many requests for this title ever since, and we are now pleased to announce that a non-limited CD is available.
How many countries can brag about having a film that has sold more cinema-tickets than there are people in the country?
Norway can, and the film was Pinchcliffe Grand Prix (Flåklypa Grand Prix in Norwegian).
It was released in 1975 and has become an classic within the world of stopmotion animation.
It remains extremely popular to this day, and one of the many reasons for it's sustained success is the wonderful score by Danish legend: Bent Fabricius-Bjerre.
Fabricius-Bjerre has a knack for melody that only few can rival, and this score contains arguably the most famous theme ever for a Scandinavian film: Norwegian Sunset.
Interestingly the score had never been available prior to our 2015 release, and with more than 800 pre-orders to Norway alone, we are extremely pleased that this wonderful music is again available on CD.
