The Musical Score Of The Wizard Of Oz And The Song Hits From Walt Disney's Pinocchio
Although this record includes some of the original vocalists from the film, the songs on this album include new arrangements and additional vocalists that were not used in either movie. The 'stereophonic' sound was electronically created by enhancing the original mono recordings.
'The Wizard Of Oz' is not a Disney production. The film premiered in theaters during August of 1939 with a running time of 101 minutes. Disney later purchased the rights to L. Frank Baum's books and several 'Oz' productions were made by Disney as well as dozens of licensed items.
'Pinocchio' is Disney's 2nd animated feature. It premiered in theaters during February of 1940. The running time is approximately 88 minutes.
