Beat Records is proud to offer a brand new unreleased score by a musician we love dearly and whose discography is sorely lacking, Maestro Teo Usuelli, the extremely creative, Emilia-born and Rome-adopted composer.
The score featured here comes from a 1968 film by director Riccardo Ghione, La rivoluzione sessuale, in which the relationship between authoritarianism and sexual repression are examined in a strongly suggestive context.
The score is painted with different sonorities that travel through bucolic rhythms and lively beat and jazz digressions, charming the listener with movements somewhere between genius and frailty that evoke the classical background of the composer, able to play with consonance and quickly make it Art with a capital “A.”
The CD comes in a jewel case featuring a 12-page booklet designed by Alessio Iannuzzi, mastering by Claudio Fuiano and liner notes by the Italian music critic Gabriele Pescatore. Limited Edition.
