Pentamusic gets back on the trail of unreleased scores by selecting a beautiful soundtrack by Maestro Stelvio Cipriani from his thriller canon of the 70s, QUALCUNO HA VISTO UCCIDERE, directed by Rafael Romero Marchant and starred Ray Milland, Sylvia Koscina and Ramiro Oliveros.
The plot divides the movie in two halves, the first in which we see the commission of a violent crime, and in the second, an escalation of events that turn the movie into a real action movie.
In 1973, Stelvio Cipriani—composer of more than 500 soundtracks and surely one of the most prolific composers ever—already had his own stylistic mark.
Just back from some experimental scores, mainly with Bava (Gli orrori del castello di Norimberga, Reazione a catena), he imported some of that style into this score, alternating languid melodies typical of his style, with dissonant passages, percussive tribalism and breathless chases verging on hard rock.
