Christmas with a Capital C

Just in time for the 2017 Holidays, Howlin’ Wolf Records proudly presents Edwin Wendler’s score for Christmas with a Capital C (2010). The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, the Illumni Men’s Chorale, and flutist Sandro Friedrich passionately perform Wendler’s wonderfully melodic music, released here for the first time away from picture.

Highlights include the lyrical “Journey to Trapper Falls,” the bouncy “Taking Action,” the gorgeous “Nativity,” the energetic “Christmas Cup,” and the lush “Gifts and Statues.” A beautiful, choral version of the main theme (“Joyful Hope”) appears as one of three bonus tracks.

The booklet consists of notes from director Helmut Schleppi and composer Edwin Wendler, as well as song lyrics.

Album art direction by Alan L Dull.

Limited Edition of 500 units. All orders include an extra booklet signed by Edwin Wendler.

Ds expected to begin shipping the week of December 11, 2017.
