CINEMA VOCE was award a Global Music Awards for Best Original Score Album (2014).
The human voice is the most powerful, versatile and emotional instrument. As a film composer, I frequently utilized the voice as an additional instrument of the orchestra. CINEMA VOCE (cinema voice) is a collection of musical excerpts from a diverse selection of film scores. All of these pieces of music serve as dramatic and emotional fabric for cinema.
From the sands of the Middle East to the glaciers of the north, from Native American tribes to the coronation of royalty, the voice not only transports the listener to a specific geographic region or time period, but it also enhances the dramatic experience of the music, moving us to a higher emotional state.
Whether as a solo voice or as choral ensembles, CINEMA VOCE celebrates one of the most beautiful colors of orchestra; the human voice.
