Le Bunker de la Dernière Rafale [The Bunker of the Last Gunshots], made in 1981 by Marc Caro and Jean-Pierre Jeunet, is a retro-futuristic medium-length film of 26 minutes bursting with punk and industrial culture, in the tradition of expressionist cinema, and that has the characteristic of being a silent film.
At the time the soundtrack was made by the sonorous system Parazite in monaural version for the 35mm copy.
A stereo version is made through the Arkamys process when the movie was released in DVD in 2001.
Marc Caro makes again this soundtrack in 5.1 version at the occasion of the screening of the movie for its 30th anniversary, at the Etrange festival in 2011.
It is the stereo mix of this live cinema performance version that you'll be able to listen to now.
