Wie kent ze niet, het legendarische duo Laurel & Hardy, Ronnie Hazlehurst en zijn orkest zijn met dit album lekker opdreef en zetten de juiste toon voor de muziek. De term Music Box is goed gekozen, het bevat namelijk van alles. Natuurlijk ontbreek het geniale Ku-Ku herkenningsstuk, geschreven door Hatley, niet. Maar ook de MGM-leeuw ontbreekt niet en ik moet eerlijk bekennen de muziek zonder de beelden is ongevenaard cosmisch als comisch. Het zet de tijdsgeest weer in perspectief dus wees behoed als u denkt dat het een moderne uitvoering is want dan doet u zichzelf te kort. Dit album krijgt een 8 van mij omdat ht echt geweldig is maar na een half uur ben ik het wel een beetje zat. Maar dat zegd meer over mij dan over de muziek, ben ik bang.
