Alleen de songs in andere uitvoeringen en ontwikkelings stadia zijn de prijs van deze box al waard. Bijzonder plezierig is de stem van Chris Amoo die diverse stukken zingt waaronder ook stukken die we nog nooit hebben gehoord zoals Parson Nathaniel.
Als documentaire maker bij Radio Beverwijk vond ik alle extra's in deze box bijzonder aangenaam om mee te werken een special te maken over het fenomeen The War of The Worlds. Maar ook voor de liefhebber van dit werk die toch graag iets meer informatie wenst te hebben is dit de juiste aanschaf. Het ingebonden boek is werkelijk prachtig en staat bol van de informatie.
De bijgeleverde DVD bevat allerhande docu's die werkelijk de moeite waard zijn. Unike beelden en leuke extra's.
De uitvoering is meteen SACD en heeft een mooie kwaliteit, opvallend is dat er stukken zijn ingeslopen die anders zijn van de originele LP en eerste CD release van dit werk. Wellicht de moeite waard om even te luisteren naar u oude geluidsdragers voor dat u deze aanzet zodat u de verschillen kunt horen.
