The Story:
A small town is shaken by a series of ominous killings in the days leading up to a heated mayoral election.
The Score:
“Working with the Bloomquist brothers is always an incredible journey into interesting worlds. In Founders Day, we enter a town where, bubbling under the surface, are political rivalries and tensions. Amongst this, an unknown violent serial killer begins a killing spree and sets the town even. more on edge. One of things that really struck me about the film are the incredibly violent and visceral slashing kills that led me to want to create a hybrid electronic, guitar and orchestral driven score that is equally as visceral and violent. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did writing it.” – Timothy Williams
The Composer:
Timothy Williams is a multi-award winning composer best known for his work on Brightburn, Get Out, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, Deadpool 2, Hobbs and Shaw, Butterfly Circus and Robert Duvall’s Wild Horses. A graduate of the National Film and Television School, Williams has won numerous awards and currently holds over 110 feature film credits. Besides the movies above for which he orchestrated and wrote additional music for, Williams also conducted the scores for Christopher Robin, Hidden Figures, Annabelle Creation, It and It 2. His and Kieran Kiely’s score for Finding You and Have You Heard About Greg?, co-scored with Chad Cannon and Jesse Carmichael, have been released by MovieScore Media, as well as the previous Bloomquist brothers film, She Came from the Woods and the uplifting indie drama Gringa.
