The soundtrack is Available Everywhere, August 11 while the film itself releases exclusively in theatres by Sony Pictures on August 25.

Co-composer Andrew Kawczynski notes 'It's truly been an incredible journey co-writing the score for the Gran Turismo soundtrack alongside my talented collaborator Lorne Balfe and everyone at 14 Street Music. I want to express my deepest gratitude to all the musicians, arrangers, and everyone else who put in the long hours and dedication to make this score possible.
A special thank you to our director, Neil Blomkamp, for his incredible vision and inspiring us through his stunning visuals and race sequences, as well as the producers and everyone at Sony for their creative input and guidance.

Writing this score was an absolute pleasure, Lorne and I decided to explore the world of vocal manipulation in order to enhance the fast paced nature of the film and bring a certain humanity to the score. We felt the weight of the responsibility to honor Gran Turismo's legacy and devoted fan base.
Gran Turismo pioneered sim racing over the past 30 years and we used this as inspiration to create a sonic world that pays respect to the gaming world while exploring new territories in synthesis.
Thank you to the video game composers Lorne and I decided to bring on for contributing to this music sound design and help merging the worlds of video games and film.

About Lorne Balfe :

Grammy-winning, and Emmy & Bafta-nominated composer Lorne Balfe has created music in virtually all genres and for all visual media with projects ranging from major studio to independent films, tent pole video game franchises, beloved animated feature films, critically acclaimed television series, and documentary features.
Consistently receiving accolades for his musical compositions, he received critical acclaim for his score in the most successful film of the Mission Impossible franchise, Writer/Director Christopher McQuarrie’s Mission Impossible: Fallout (Paramount Pictures) and has also scored MISSION: Impossible 7, releasing in July 2023.

Balfe worked on the critically acclaimed and Oscar nominated Top Gun: Maverick (Paramount), which garnered 1.488 billion in the global box office.
Lorne served as Score Producer and contributed to the score alongside Hans Zimmer, Harold Faltermeyer, and Lady Gaga.
He recently composed the music for the highly praised Luther: Fallen Sun (Netflix), the continuation to the beloved BBC series, and Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (Paramount) based on the much beloved and celebrated tabletop game.

Other notable credits include Black Widow (Disney/Marvel), Ambulance (Universal), Jungleland (Paramount), The Lego Batman Movie (Warner Bros), and the Oscar nominated film The Florida Project (A24). Coming up Lorne’s work will be heard in Argylle directed by Matthew Vaughn

About Andrew Kawczynski
Andrew Kawczynski is a multi-talented film composer, music producer, and electronic musician with a career spanning 15 years in the entertainment industry. Having left an indelible mark on over 65 motion pictures, Andrew's music has enhanced the cinematic experience for countless audiences worldwide.

One of his recent notable collaborations includes working alongside the esteemed composer Lorne Balfe on the film 'Ping Pong of China,' showcasing their creative synergy and ability to craft unique scores. Additionally, Andrew lent his musical prowess to the epic war film 'The Eight Hundred,' which earned the prestigious distinction of being the top-grossing Chinese film worldwide in 2020.
Andrew has also composed for the indie boxing film 'In Full Bloom,' which garnered a devoted cult following through various streaming platforms. He also showcased his talent in the heartwarming Australian family film 'Go Karts,' which captivated audiences on Netflix as well as U.K. 's 'The Corrupted,' starring Sam Claflin and Timothy Spall.

Andrew's journey in the film music industry started at a young age when he began working as a technical assistant for Lorne Balfe. With dedication and talent, he rapidly progressed to creating sound design and composing music for Lorne's projects.
In 2012, his impressive skills caught the attention of legendary composer Hans Zimmer, leading him to join Zimmer's esteemed team of music creators.
Throughout his career, Andrew has also collaborated with other industry-leading composers such as Henry Jackman, Mark Mothersbaugh, and Rupert Gregson-Williams, contributing his musical expertise to enhance their works.
