ABKCO Records presents two soundtracks for Asteroid City. The albums contains the score composed by Alexandre Desplat and songs from the movie.
The two soundtracks are available since June 23, 2023.
Asteroid City is written and directed by Anderson and stars Jason Schwartzman, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hanks, Tilda Swinton, Jeffrey Wright, Bryan Cranston, Adrien Brody, Edward Norton, Liev Schreiber, Stephen Park, Hope Davis, Rupert Friend, Steve Carell, Maya Hawke, Matt Dillon, Willem Dafoe, Hong Chau, Margot Robbie, Jake Ryan, Tony Revolori and Jeff Goldblum.
Curated and presented by 180 Studios and Universal Pictures, the exhibition features original sets, props, costumes and artwork that capture Anderson’s signature style, visuals and sounds, as well as provide an opportunity to dine out at the film’s iconic 1950s diner, which will be recreated onsite.
Asteroid City takes place in a fictional American desert town circa 1955. The itinerary of a Junior Stargazer/Space Cadet convention (organized to bring together students and parents from across the country for fellowship and scholarly competition) is spectacularly disrupted by world-changing events.
