La Belle Vie is a French film directed by Robert Enrico, released in 1963.

A conscript returns from Algeria after 27 months of service. In Paris, he meets his girlfriend Sylvie at a popular ball.
He marries her, goes on a honeymoon with her, and, once back, finds a job as a photographer. As time goes by, he cheats on his wife with unknown women, and life goes on as usual...
One day, however, a gendarme rings at his door: he is called up for military service and must return to combat....

Bébert et l'Omnibus is a French film directed by Yves Robert, released in 1963.

After an eventful exploration at the Samaritaine and then in the streets of Paris, young Bébert is forgotten at the end of the train by his older brother, Tiennot, who has gone to flirt in the front cars of their train to Coulommiers (the family lives in Tournan-en-Brie).
This train is indeed divided into two trains at the station of Gretz-Armainvilliers, the head going to Tournan, the tail to Verneuil-l'Étang, where Bébert will live some memorable adventures and sow chaos in the station.

Une balle dans le canon is a French film directed by Michel Deville and Charles Gérard released in 1958.

Two young 'paratroopers' returning from Indochina, Tony and Dick, invest, in a Pigalle nightclub, the 'Tip Tap', the 25 millions that 'The Maltese' entrusted to them.
But the latter reappears and demands his money. Forced to sell, the two young men will be played by 'Pépère', the former owner of the club, who will tragically die with Dick while Tony will be arrested for a murder he did not commit.

He was married to Dorothy Mitchum.

In 1946, Robert Mitchum received a nomination for the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for the film The Convicts.
In 1994, he was awarded the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement.
