Milan presents Hana-Bi by Joe Hisaishi re-issue
Nishi leaves the police in the face of harrowing personal and professional
difficulties. Spiraling into depression, he makes questionable decisions.
Hana-Bi is the fourth collaboration between Takeshi Kitano and Joe Hisaishi.
This is a poetic and melancholic, simple and sober score by Japanese composer (regular collaborator of Kitano and Miyazaki), which reminds his work for A Scene at the Sea, Sonatine and Kikujiro (all of theme are also directed by Kitano).
