Following up on his Oscar-winning hit March of the Penguins, director Luc Jacquet explores the mysteries of the world’s rain forests in his breathtaking documentary, Once Upon a Forest (Il était une forêt). This release from Actes Sud offers the film’s soaring and evocative soundtrack, written by Éric Neveux. Since his 1996 début with the soundtrack to François Ozon’s Regarde la mer, Neveux has built an extensive catalog of work for film and television, including Ziad Doueiri’s acclaimed The Attack and the 2011 television series Borgia.
