Mica Levi's score live!

Under The Skin, a film directed by Jonathan Glazer (Sexy Beast, Birth), starring Scarlett Johansson will be screening with a live performance of the score by a 25-piece orchestra on January 6th at the newly opened Regent Theater in Downtown Los Angeles, co-presented by Wordless Music and Spaceland Productions. Mica Levi composed the film’s original score and will be conducting the orchestra. Tickets go on sale November 19th.

Levi, the 26-year old classically trained composer behind the score recently won Best Composer in the European Film Awards for her work on Under the Skin. Levi was also nominated for a British Independent Film Award in the Best Technical Achievement category and the original soundtrack continues to receive praise from the likes of Pitchfork, Variety, BlackBook , The Dissolve, Interview Magazine, The Guardian and many more. The orchestra players for this event were chosen from the critically acclaimed ensembles, wild Up and Wordless Orchestra.
