New releases from La-La Land Records

La-La Land Records will release this week 3 new soundtracks containing in total 6 scores. The first is a 2-CD set with Jim Dooley's score to the videogames Socom 3: U.S. Navy Seals and U.S. Navy Seals Combined Assault. The second release is also a videogame score, Vincent Diamante's score to Flower. The third and last release is also a 2-CD set with on CD 1 CD 1 Bruce Broughton's score to Miracle on 34th Street from 1994 and on CD 2 Cyril Mockridge score to Miracle on 34th Street from 1947 and his score to Come To The Stable.

Diamante’s ethereal score masterfully enhances the game’s remarkable sense of wonder as the player explores and interacts with gorgeous, lush environments. A remarkable stand-alone listen, the FLOWER soundtrack is a soulful, thoughtful and inspirational experience. Produced for SCEA by Monty Mudd and Keith Leary and mastered by Joel Yarger and Marc Senasac at Sony Masterworks, this limited edition of 1500 Units features two never-before-released tracks, “Drifting Off” and “Floating on a Gentle Breeze,” which was composed for a level of play that was ultimately cut from the game. The CD booklet features liner notes comments from the composer, as well as game designer Jenova Chen, and attractive art design by Dan Goldwasser.

La-La Land Records and 20th Century Fox proudly present a holiday treat! – A 2-CD SET featuring composer Bruce Broughton’s original score to the 1994 feature film remake MIRACLE ON 34th STREET, starring Richard Attenborough and Mara Wilson, and composer Cyril Mockridge’s original score to the 1947 holiday classic MIRACLE ON 34th STREET, starring Maureen O’Hara and Natalie Wood. Also included is Mockridge’s score to the 1949 feature COME TO THE STABLE, starring Loretta Young and Celeste Holm. Both MIRACLES serve up beautiful, timeless holiday scores bursting with joy and warmth. The assemblies featured on this re-issue are the same as found on both the original Intrada and Percepto releases, however, Disc 2 (the ’47 MIRACLE and COME TO THE STABLE) has been newly remastered by Mike Matessino. This special 2-CD re-issue compilation, produced by Nick Redman, includes all-new, exclusive liner notes by writer Julie Kirgo and yuletide art direction from designer Jim Titus.
