Broad City

Broad City is a comedy television series from Comedy Central. Premiering in 2014 and spanning several seasons, it follows Ilana and Abbi, two women in their twenties, who experience adventures of carelessness and frivolity in New York City. Ilana seeks to avoid working as much as possible while pursuing her relentless hedonism, and Abbi tries to make a career as an illustrator, often getting sidetracked into Ilana’s schemes.

The soundtrack to Broad City features eclectic hip-hop and dance numbers from artists all over the world curated by producer Matt FX, who also selects the music for the show. From the theme song “Latino & Proud” by DJ Raff to the endlessly energetic “Let ‘Em Say” by Lizzo and Caroline Smith, the Broad City soundtrack is as uniquely vibrant and lively as the girls themselves. The hypnotic “Tigre” by Jarina De Marco and the blistering rhythmic beat of “Dat Gyal” by Tony Quattro are both previously unreleased tracks and are included exclusively on this soundtrack release. Broad City recently finished running new episodes of its third season on Comedy Central, but will return for a fourth and fifth season in the near future.

Broad City just finished running the new episodes of the third season and the fourth and fifth ones are coming very soon.

The soundtrack includes two exclusive and dynamic songs: Tigre by Jarina De Marco and Dat Gyal by Tony Quattro.

The LP version of Broad City is pressed on 180 gram yellow vinyl. It features a digital download card and a funny notice about important skills you might be interested in: “Let’s Learn How To Roll”.

This vinyl will be available exclusively at Urban Outfitters from October 28th to December 2nd.
