New York, March 1, 2017 - For the first time, the original motion picture soundtrack to The Dark Crystal will be available digitally, courtesy of The Jim Henson Company and Enjoy The Toons Records. The album is currently available for pre-order and will be available worldwide on Friday, March 3, 2017.

The album is currently available for pre-order and will be available worldwide on Friday, March 3, 2017.
The soundtrack features Trevor Jones' musical score written for the groundbreaking fantasy classic directed by Jim Henson and Frank Oz, and was arranged specifically for an album listening experience. The album was recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in 1982. The album has been reissued on CD in various countries throughout the last 35 years, but this is the first digital reissue since the film's original release. The soundtrack will be available via iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, Apple Music, CD Baby and all other digital retailers worldwide.
