The album contains the music from the sixth Peanuts special (A Charlie Brown Christmas, It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, A Boy Named Charlie Brown), and various songs and bonus tracks.

The 55th Anniversary Edition will be available as a vinyl edition (Record Store Day) digitally and Cd on July 5, 2024.

Peanuts is based on the comic strip of the same name created by Charles M. Schulz and the children's animated television series is adapted for the screen and directed by Alexis Lavillat.
