A selection of original compositions commissioned by and performed by the World renowned Central Band of the Royal Air Force. Arguably the finest Military Band in the world, the Central Band of the Royal Air Force perform a collection of original compositions commissioned by Royal Air Force Music Services. With music by famous composers including Edward Gregson and Joseph Horivitz, this CD provides a comprehensive collection of new works, all of which have been written with the intention of enhancing the Royal Air Force’s unique contribution to the world of music and the professionalism of it’s musicians. Supported by performers including John Harle, The London Philharmonia Chorus and London Philharmonic Choir, the music, largely inspired by military commemorative events, is a must have for any discerning listener.
