The Burnt Part Boys played off-Broadway in the spring of 2010 at Playwrights Horizons in a co-production with the Vineyard Theater. It was nominated for two 2011 Lucille Lortel Awards (Best Musical; Best Featured Actor, Noah Galvin), a Drama Desk Award for Best Orchestrations (Bruce Coughlin), & a 2011 Off-Broadway Alliance Award for Best Musical. The 18 track cast album preserves the elegiac pop/folk/bluegrass score by Chris Miller (music) and Nathan Tysen (Lyrics). The lavishly packaged cd comes with a 28 page booklet containing the complete lyrics, a synopsis, and production photos.
