Nieuwe release van Prometheus Records & Tadlow Music

Prometheus Records & Tadlow Music hebben Miklos Rozsa's score voor The Thief of Bagdag uitgebracht in een prachtige 2-CD set. De muziek is heropgenomen door de City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra en koor gedirigeerd door Nic Raine. Deze release bevat maar liefst 153 minuten muziek waarvan 70 minuten die voorheen niet verkrijgbaar waren. Daar bovenop staan er nog voor 30 minuten aan extra's op. Rozsa expert Leigh Philips de score voor deze set opnieuw geherconstruceerd en georkestreerd. De cover art is van Jim Titus en de 28 pagina dikke liner notes zijn geschreven voor Frank K Dewald. Eén van Rozsa's beste scores is nu verkrijgbaar in een perfecte 24-bit 96Khz opname.
