Le capitaine Achab est un chasseur de dragons à la recherche d'un spécimen bien particulier : le dragon blanc. En effet, la créature a autrefois tué sa famille et il veut donc l'éliminer pour assouvir sa vengeance. Ismael, une nouvelle recrue dans l'équipe, est inquiet car, aveuglé par sa colère et sa peine, Achab pourrait bien mettre la vie de ses amis en péril...
