La-La Land Records présente, à l'occasion du 20e anniversaire de la sortie du film, une bande originale élargie du film La Ligne rouge (The Thin Red Line) de Terrence Malick de 1998.
La-La Land Records présente, à l'occasion du 20e anniversaire de la sortie du film, une bande originale élargie du film La Ligne rouge (The Thin Red Line) de Terrence Malick de 1998.
Le coffret de 4 CD comprend la musique remasterisée de la production de la 20th Century Fox composée par Hans Zimmer.
La partition du film telle qu’elle a été écrite en ordre chronologique sur les deux premiers disques, l’album remixé original de 1999 sur le troisième disque et l’album de chants mélanésiens de RCA sur le quatrième disque.
L'album est limité à 3 500 exemplaires et sera disponible sur le site officiel du label dès le 5 février 2019.
La Ligne rouge (The Thin Red Line) est un film de guerre réalisé en 1998 par Terrence Malick, sorti en salle en 1999 avec Sean Penn, Jim Caviezel, Nick Nolte, Adrien Brody, Jim Caviezel, Ben Chaplin, George Clooney, John Cusack, John Travolta.
Pendant la Guerre du Pacifique, alors que l’armée américaine veut reprendre l’île de Guadalcanal aux Japonais, un déserteur installé dans un village mélanésien doit réintégrer sa Compagnie. Les soldats débarquent sans rencontrer de résistance mais en pénétrant dans les territoires intérieurs de l’île, ils subissent sur la Colline 210 un feu nourri provenant d’un bunker lourdement armé…
