L'Apprentie sorcière (Bedknobs and Broomsticks) est un film musical de Walt Disney réalisé par Robert Stevenson et sorti en 1971 avec Angela Lansbury et David Tomlinson. Mêlant prises de vues réelles et animation comme le célèbre Mary Poppins de 1964, il est adapté du roman de l'écrivain britannique Mary Norton, il est considéré comme le 26e long-métrage d'animation des studios Disney. Le film marque aussi la dernière participation des frères Sherman à une production Disney après dix ans d'une fructueuse collaboration.

Août 1940. Afin d'échapper aux bombardements allemands, les enfants londoniens sont évacués de la capitale. C'est ainsi que Charlie, Carrie et Paul Rawlins se retrouvent placés chez une vieille demoiselle revêche, Églantine Price, dans le petit village de Pepperinge Eye, sur la côte sud de l'Angleterre. Une apprentie sorcière, trois enfants et un escroc s'allient donc pour tenter de trouver l'élément manquant dans la composition d'une formule magique qui pourra sauver l'Angleterre….
