La contribution du Maestro au 8ème art a toujours été partiellement éditée. Grâce à la précieuse collection d'archives de Nomus Ass.ne Cult.le, à Milan, il a été possible de retrouver dans leurs coffres des enregistrements importants et donc des scores qui auront enfin la chance d'être publiés.
Sono Sartana, il vostro becchino (Sartana the Gravedigger) est un film italien de 1969 réalisé par Giuliano Carnimeo et mettant en vedette Gianni Garko, Klaus Kinski, Frank Wolff, Sal Borgese et Gordon Mitchell. C'était une production importante à cette époque, mettant en vedette la belle musique composée par le maestro, comme toujours respectueux du canon mais doté d'une touche unique et distinctive, typique du compositeur si habile à appliquer son style unique à différents genres.
L'un des plus grands héros du Western Italien est le protagoniste de ce film: Sartana !
Sartana est accusé par le directeur d'une banque d'avoir volé 300 000 dollars et tué tous les employés. Mais en réalité, il est innocent et, avec l'aide du voleur Buddy Ben, il vient en ville, évite toutes les embuscades et découvre les véritables coupables….
