John Landis (Animal House/Coming to America/Trading Places) directs this Touchstone Pictures release starring Sylvester Stallone. Mafia tough-guy (Stallone) vows at his father's death bed to give up the mob and go straight. On the day he is to relinqish his 'business' he is confronted by a parade of shysters who make it very difficult for him to come clean. Also starring in what Touchstone plans as their next 'Pretty Woman' / 'Green Card' -type nature comedy are Tim Curry, Don Ameche and Yvonne De Carlo.
The beautiful music score is by veteran composer Elmer Bernstein (The Grifters, To Kill A Mockingbird, My Left Foot and Ghostbusters). Also included are excerpts from Rossini's 'Barber of Seville' and more !
