A modern-tale fairytale about three brother who run away from the world of grown-ups to find an uninhabited island where they can live as they please. Sun, sand, fruit in the trees, fish in the sea - what could be better? But freedom isn't so simple. Cornelius Button, an eccentric grasshopper collector and Lupus, his crochety housekeeper, also think they are the only people living on Grasshopper Island. When they discover each other, adjustments have to be made. And when danger threatens, the boys join forces against a common enemy to ensure that Grasshopper Island remains a place where they can all enjoy life in their own special way.
